Exploring Guildford...Days 46-48

We're on a home based adventure, discovering the present and past of Guildford, as well as enjoying a lovely relaxed rhythm, and LOTS of icecream...

This morning we went to visit Guildford Cathedral, which has recently been renovated, and was looking stunning - light and welcoming. We went hunting for a snail, stags, and all sorts of hidden treasures, thanks to a family friend who volunteers there and is also a retired teacher..

This afternoon the children and Grandma had tea at 'The Palace' - complete with royal armchairs :-)   Tomorrow's fun is with the Wild Explorers - our first 'official' home education adventure
